WWDC 2014 Kicks Into Gear With iOS 8 and New Mac OS X Version

WWDC 2014 has kicked off and the event will soon be live across the world with new versions of both iOS and Mac OS X set to be revealed at today’s keynote.

The press area in San Francisco is heating up and several large banners have been spotted at the event with some being covered up by black sheeting to hide whatever is going to be revealed.

There are expected to be some major updates to Mac OS X 10 with a possible 10.10 update rumoured to be in the works and iOS 8 which has been described as re-inventing the home-screen and include Healthbook.

Ferrari are currently at the event with CarPlay expected to be revealed

Ferrari are currently at the event with CarPlay expected to be on the menu.

Ferrari have been spotted at the event and this could be linked to CarPlay, an iPhone feature that enables an iOS-like interface on in-car touch-screen systems, that Apple revealed earlier this year.

There have been several well known figures spotted on the floor of the upcoming wwdc 2014 Keynote including, Box’s Aaron Levie and Ben Silberman, CEO of Pinterest, Craig Federighi, head of OS X, and Eddie Cue, Dre’s new boss.  Tim Cook has also just been seen backstage.
