WSJ Confirms 'iRadio' To Be Introduction at WWDC Today

Apple will announce their new music streaming service widely known as “iRadio” at todays WWDC according to The Wall Street Journal.

In a reported published today said that Apple are ready to unveil the long rumoured streaming music service at tomorrows  World Wide Developer Conference. iRadio is said to go full force against the current competition which is market leaders Spotify and Pandora.

Not all news is good news regarding iRadio as the WSJ is also saying the this ad supported service will only be available for U.S residents and the newspaper did not mention anything about an expect time frame for this service to be available over sees.

The highly anticipated new service—expected to be available only in the U.S.—will allow users to stream a radio-like channel of music based on their interests. It will be supported by text and audio ads from Apple’s iAd service, people familiar with the matter said. It will feature “Buy” buttons to drive downloads, they added.
