Edit: After half day, my wife’s Mac started having the same problem. I have then applied the solution that I found in the Apple
Which Will you buy? iPhone 5C or iPhone 5S?
With two new iPhone’s coming out later this month, we ask, which will you buy… the iPhone 5s or the iPhone 5c?
Apple’s new ‘forward thinking’ has left many customers scratching their heads and asking
themselves which of these two new gems do they want to be tied to for the next two years?
The highly anticipated, cheaper, plastic iPhone 5C? Or the all out powerhouse that is the iPhone 5S? For those of you who don’t want to carry the burden of a standard 2 year contract, you will need to fork out quite a bit extra to get your hands on one of Apple’s latest smart phones. But which will YOU decide is the device for you?
With pre-orders starting at 8.01am in the UK on Friday 13th September, it will come as no surprise at all if people were to open the Apple Store online page and find that infamous ‘Sold Out’ sign over the two latest releases. This alone tells us that the 2 new models are going to be hits among the general public, and that trying to get a hold of one in the first few weeks is going to be near impossible.
But I digress. What we want to know is which one you are most looking forward to, and why? Will you choose the diamond cut, chamfered finish of the iPhone 5S or the fun, colorful and vibrant feel of the 5C?
Perhaps the form factors don’t really bother you that much, and you’d rather delve into the actual features of the phone. If you’re looking for a top of the range device with capabilities that really have to be seen to be believed, it’s probably worth you paying a little extra for those privileges. Apple really went to town on the 5S’s feature list, adding brand new capabilities such as the slow motion video recorder and the “Fingerprint Identity Sensor“, which allows you to use your finger to unlock your device, and also to confirm purchases made on the phone without you having to enter a password. The iPhone 5S starts at ?549 for the 16GB model and is available in 3 colours, Silver, Champagne Gold, and Space Grey.
If you’re currently on the other side of the market and looking for a cheaper alternative, then the iPhone 5C should by no means play ‘second fiddle’ to the iPhone 5S. The iPhone 5C is packed with great features and specs that in Apple’s eyes was great enough to knock the iPhone 5 out of their smartphone lineup. That’s right, the iPhone 5 has been kicked out and replaced with a brighter, plastic model that is currently retailing for ?60 less that its predecessor. With a price tag of ?469 for the 16GB model, and ?549 for the 32GB model, the iPhone 5C is in no way the lesser of the 2 new devices, its just that the price may end up being the final deciding point when it comes to choosing your next iPhone. The iPhone 5C is available in 5 colours, including green, blue, yellow, peach, and white.
So when you walk through the doors of your nearest Apple Store or your current network provider’s shop, which of the 2 new iPhones will you ask them to run through the till, and why?
