Voice Search Features Now Available In Chrome
At the Google I/O keynote earlier this month Google revealed they would be bringing Google-Now like features to Chrome for desktop. The new update looks similar to the UI in the Google Now mobile apps.
It appears Google has started rolling out the new features today and you most likely will see them appear in your Chrome browser when you update to Chrome version 27.0.1453.93.
The new voice search feature is very simple to use, once you have updated go to either Google.com or Google.co.uk and click on the little microphone icon which is at the right hand side of the search box.
One big feature of the voice search is still missing from the version showed at Google I/O and that is enabling the search / voice assistant by simply saying “Ok Google”.
We tried it out for our selfs in the video below and didn’t have much look be it will most likely get a lot better in time.
