The Newest MAC OS

Silicon Valley, along with the rest of the world, held its breath today as the new iPhone 4S was revealed. While many assumed this press conference was to announce the iPhone 5, there weren’t a lot of disappointed people in the room with they finally saw the new MAC OS in action. Called iOS, there are a lot of upgrades in this version that will have users jumping for joy. From the improved camera to really enhanced operating system, dual core A5 chip, which is 2 times faster than its predecessors, the Apple broke its own records and threw something in the market which is matchless and outstanding. The all-new option of iCloud lets you keep all of your files sync between your Apple devices. If you want to learn more about this amazing device of Apple, keep on reading this article.

The first big improvement is the notification centre. Now you’re no longer interrupted when you have a new text message, a new e-mail, or update waiting for you. With the old operating system, they game you’re playing would pause when you got a new message, whether it was important or not. Now with the notification centre an alert at the top of the screen will come down letting you know that you have a new message and you can chose for yourself if you want to read it or not. If you don’t, the alert with move smoothly back to the top, all without pausing or interrupting your game. When you want to read the message you can just press down at the top of the screen and notification centre will activate. Then, you just slide your finger down the screen and the centre will open. Here you will see your new message as well as any other notifications like a stock price update or a new e-mail.

The other big thing with iOS is the speed. Without adding any extra size or weight to the phone, Apple has added an extra core processor, making this one of the fastest phones in the world. Movies will stream faster, apps will download quicker, and even the webpage that you’re reading in Safari will load quicker. In fact, all of this will happen so much quicker and look so much better that you will actually forget you’re using a phone at all. The iOS operating system was designed that way; to make your phone the only mobile device that you need. But if you have other devices then you can wirelessly push information and files to them using the new iCloud service. Take a photo on your phone and it will be on your mac book at home; download a song on your iPad and it’s on your iPhone. This is a remarkable enhancement in the synchronization field and no company except Apple has put such amazing thing in the market yet. This features saves lot of your time and give you a lot of ease in access.

While iOS is great for students and business people, Apple knows that their devices aren’t only used by these types of people, and more children are beginning to use an iPhone, too. That’s why iOS has stricter parental controls that you can choose to activate before you give your child their phone. Put restrictions on Safari, Camera, FaceTime, YouTube, Location Services, the App store, and more all at once, or you can choose which of these you want restricted and which you don’t. The restrictions centre is password protected so little fingers can’t turn these off.

The new MAC OS was also released the same day as the new iPhone 4S, and both of these together create a wonderful new way of communicating. The iPhone 4S comes with Siri, a new and better voice activated controller. Siri can ‘understand’ the way that people speak and she gets what you mean even when you’re not being 100% clear. You can say “call my wife” and she will call the contact that you labelled wife, and you can say “remind me to pick up my dry cleaning when I leave work” and she will remind you when you are leaving.
