The Daily App Report : Pokerstars Application
Morning everyone and welcome to the Daily App Report, today we are taking a look at the application for Pokerstars!
Currently one of the worlds biggest poker rooms, the Pokerstars app features real and play money games which you can play on a range of iDevice’s.
There is a huge range of different game types including No-Limit Texas Hold’em Poker, Omaha or Omaha Hi-Lo, various ring games, Sit & Go’s and multi-table tournaments with the ability to come and go from the tables as you please, although the game continues with your chips in play, you sit out.
There is a new feature which looks at ZOOM Poker, in which the second you fold, you are instantly taken to a new table and dealt another hand and this is exclusive to the Pokerstars mobile app.
If your worried about missing a satellite game (a game that if you win, lets you play in a better tournament for free) then fear not, because Pokerstars mobile lets you connect and play using your Wi-Fi connection or cellular 3G and this guarantees that you will never miss an important tournament again.
If your looking to play just a quick game, the app has a simple play now button that takes you right into the action from the home screen or lobby and your only one click away from your game and for those looking for a more specific match, there is a full filter system available at your fingertips.
Pokerstars really is one of the best poker applications on the planet and fully complies with all safety procedures for deposits and operates legally under a gaming license issued by the Isle of Man Gambling Supervision Commission.
The application, of course, is for players of 18 years and older only and you do require an account to play, however the option to play for free, or real money is completely your choice and your not forced to play real cash.
Full 24/7 support is always close at hand and the app is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad.
It currently requires iOS 3.2 or later to play and comes in one language which is English and is rated 12+ on the app store.
Still not convinced? Check out our review of the app on the above YouTube video as we give it a thorough going over on the iPad Mini, we are sure you will be impressed!
