The Daily App Report : Dragon Dictation
The Dragon Dictation app by Nuance Communications is an easy-to-use voice recognition app that is powered by Dragon Naturally-speaking and allows you to easily speak and see your text messages.
The app has been described as being 5 times faster than typing messages on a keyboard, which for some people who are not great on texting, is a really useful tool.
The app can be used to update your Facebook status, set notes and reminders on your device, and send out tweets via Twitter.
This app is very handy if your on the go, lets day your walking down a quiet street and its proving difficult to type as the walk makes your spelling atrocious… Switch to talk-to-text and get perfectly dictated text messages every time!
The voice to text information can then be sent via SMS, E-Mail or pasted into any application using the great clipboard feature.
The application comes in a huge number of languages which include English, Arabic, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese.
It is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or greater.
