Selective Sync Brought To Dropbox

Though it seems like Dropbox has been here forever, but it is relatively new, and it has launched version 1.0 just this week. It is quite a milestone for cloud storage, bringing Windows and Mac together- at least for mobile devices.

It was announced on the Dropbox blog that their desktop application has launched version 1.0 along with several bug fixes and reduced resource usage. And then there are extra features like good looking installation wizard, selective sync, and extended attributes.

According to Jon Ying of Dropbox, version 1.0 is a milestone for them and this application is high quality and extremely stable. This service has developed from simple app to a communication revolution. But this version is not the final one, and you can wait for higher versions with more options.

Meanwhile, Dropbox promises that version 1.0 is the best release yet and it reduces the consumption of memory by about 50%. It is also more efficient and faster. This version guarantees a better experience. The Mac version of Dropbox is written in Cocoa, so the size of the app is reduced by 20%

There are many users who will be interested in new features launched in version 1.0. You can choose the folders to download to the computer of your choice. Then there is syncing with extra features that solves the problems that you face when files get corrupted in Dropbox.
