Yellow Pages for iPhone Review
All of us received those thick yellow page books via ordinary mail. Nowadays it’s much more convenient to search for the needed organization in Google, but when it comes to iPhone, there’s even an easier way. Meet Yellow Pages, a freeware app created by Avantar.
The app offers a large database of organizations and businesses for the US, Canada, and Western European countries. All database elements are neatly organized and broken down into categories. You can either search by categories or type in the search keyword. The search results are arranged from the closest to the farthest ones, and contain names, addresses, contact info, websites and sometimes even a Citysearch star rating.
When you tap on the search result, it will take you to a Google Map with the organizations location displayed. You can even get guidelines how to get there. The app also enables you to add the organizations phone number to your contacts list. Other options include:
- adding the organization to the Favorites list,
- sending the info via e-mail,
- posting the info to a Facebook account.
Yellow Pages is an ideal solution for business people that want to quickly locate and organize their contacts, whereas its simple and convenient interface will save lots of time.
