Physique Workout Tracker App Review

Exercising and working out is the kind of thing we should all do but mostly don’t. Sometimes we begin a fitness regime with honest intentions, usually in the first few weeks of January as the result of a new year’s resolution in my case, but unless you really devote yourself, one missed session usually leads to the whole thing falling apart. What people like me need is a way to encourage a regular fitness routine that keeps track of what I need to do, when I need to do it and how much progress I have made. For this reason, the Physique Workout Tracker app is perfect for people like me.

Physique workout Tracker is a very simple app but undoubtedly effective and can be used to create workout routines for a more organised way to get in shape, stay healthy and even do some bodybuilding if you’re into that. You can either choose from ten different set routines or, if you know more about this kind of thing, you can create your own custom made routine.

The set routines are all tailored towards achieving different outcomes. For example, if you want to improve your strength you can select the strength routine, which prescribes different exercises to do on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, all of which add up to a complete workout at the end of the week. You even have the option of editing these set routines. Each one has a beginners level to ease you in as well as more advanced workouts when you are ready for it.

As well as following a routine you can also select individual exercises, while a progress bar shows you how far along the exercise you are. You can track your progress by entering such details as how much weight you lifted and you can even designate rest times, which count down and notify you when it is time to start the next exercise.

Physique does not just track individual exercises however, it can also track your entire progress from the day you start, which is a great way to keep track of just how well you are doing. Although it ultimately requires willpower from you, having your progress officially mapped out for you also acts as an incentive to keep going and improve on what you have already achieved.

Physique workout Tracker is an excellent app that really helps you keep an eye on your own fitness. It can be difficult for many to know how to maintain a useful exercise routine, especially if they don’t know what they should be doing when, but the app removes all excuses to not exercise and encourages you to keep it up. It requires some reading from you so you can understand what each exercise specifically entails but once this is out of the way you are ready to go and will start seeing results in no time.

Physique Workout Tracker is compatible with any iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch with iOS 5 or later and is available now from the App Store for just $4.99.
