You can either choose from ten different set routines or, if you know more about this kind of thing, you can create your own custom made routine.
The set routines are all tailored towards achieving different outcomes. For example, if you want to improve your strength you can select the strength routine, which prescribes different exercises to do on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, all of which add up to a complete workout at the end of the week. You even have the option of editing these set routines. Each one has a beginners level to ease you in as well as more advanced workouts when you are ready for it.
As well as following a routine you can also select individual exercises, while a progress bar shows you how far along the exercise you are. You can track your progress by entering such details as how much weight you lifted and you can even designate rest times, which count down and notify you when it is time to start the next exercise.
Physique does not just track individual exercises however, it can also track your entire progress from the day you start, which is a great way to keep track of just how well you are doing. Although it ultimately requires willpower from you, having your progress officially mapped out for you also acts as an incentive to keep going and improve on what you have already achieved.
