OS X Mountain Lion Users Suffering From Wireless Connection Issues

OS X Mountain Lion Users Suffering From Wireless Connection Issues

UPDATE: We have some possible fixes here : http://goo.gl/VSxZP

Yesterday Apple released OS X Mountain Lion to the public and it shot straight to number 1 in the mac app store but in the first 24 hours of release it seems that OS X Mountain Lion has not been playing nice for everyone. We were emailed last night from a reader who was using a 2010 iMac and he could not connect to any wireless network and when he did get connected it would drop 5 seconds later. At that point we thought it could have been a one of maybe his router or his hardware had a problem but we soon changed our mind this morning when we woke up to find our inbox packed with complaints about wireless connections problems with in OS X Mountain Lion.

We have listed the devices we have heard have a problem with connecting below :

  • 2010 iMacs
  • 2011 Macbook Pro 13″;
  • 2009 Macbook Pro 15″;
  • 2009 Macbook White 13″;
  • 2011 Mac Mini
  • Early 2008 MacBook Pro
  • Late 2011 15″;  MacBook Pro

All other models seem to be playing nicely with OS X Mountain Lion but if you are having any problems with mountain lion please be sure to let us know
