Edit: After half day, my wife’s Mac started having the same problem. I have then applied the solution that I found in the Apple
My Mac Monday (MMM2) : Oliver Breidenbach, CEO Boinx Software
“My office is home to a MacBook Pro 2.8 GHz connected to a 30″; display, both cherished prices from the 2009 Apple Design Award competition, where Boinx Software received recognition for BoinxTV as a Mac OS X showcase. The iPhone is mostly used for communicating on the road while my iPad is currently more a proof of concept.
These days, I mostly use my Mac to run the business. Apart from communicating by Email, Skype, iChat and Twitter, this means running business apps like Numbers, Pages and our homegrown CRM and ERP software. But I am pushing our IT heavily into the cloud and my goal is to not have to buy new servers ever again, so this is pretty exciting.
From time to time I get to be creative. I create the occasional flyer and brochure using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign, the odd video with BoinxTV (http://boinx.com/boinxtv) and FotoMagico (http://boinx.com/fotomagico) and sometimes I write newsletters or web pages using SubEthaEdit.
But I think a new era has begun with the iPad. I think in the future, the UI will move to devices like the iPad while invisible computers do the heavy lifting. Of course this means that there need to be many different sizes of iPad but I am really looking forward to the first 100″; iPad that I can hang on my office wall to use like a digital whiteboard!”
