MAC OS X Lion overtaking the market – profits swell for Apple

The sale of all-new Operating System by Mac is reported to have surged by more than 25% in the very previous month. A large fraction of these buyers are those Mac users who wish to upgrade their OS, but more astonishingly – according to the business reports from reputed sources, most of these latest MAC OS X buyers are those who have switched from a different OS like MS Windows to experience this new sensation. So all in all, Mac OS X Lion has played the role of attracting more and more computer users towards it.

For all the past years, one thing that did not progress such well in the market for Apple was its Operating System. Its Notebooks, IPhones etc were already taking the world by storm, however with the giant like Microsoft on the scene, there were few likelihoods for any other OS to come up to the picture. Mac has been on the race with the development, and this latest release is one thing that could threaten even the best of the competitors.

The features of this particular OS have been developed on the lines of previous Mac OS, but some exceedingly innovative traits have been added as well. Not only does it provide a phenomenal opportunity to cherish your computing experience, it also ensures that you are made safe from all those computer crimes taking place all around.  The firewall system MAC OS X Lion possesses may be argued to have been derived from a conception coined by MS Windows, but then some very exciting and innovative features are added by Mac as well. However, considering the fact that only last week Apple has been sued after being accused for copying a feature from any other software developer company, this is one thing that Apple Mac has to be aware of.

On the darker side, though, marketing experts assert that this swell up in the sales figures is far too contemporary and a drop in sales is expected in the month of September. They also believe that this surge in profits is not just the result of increase in the sales of MAC OS X Lion, but some other recent products by Apple have hit the market in recent times, and these are equally responsible for increasing the demand of the brand on whole. Since these products themselves support the installment of MAC OS X Lion, there is no question why the sale of this Os would not mount. The critics also show reluctance in lauding for Apple, dismissing this as an ‘achievement’.  To them every new product released, with loads of promotion and marketing tricks (and Apple is an expert with it), is set to take the world by storm even if it possesses standard-level features, and not just anything exceptional.  They state that these mounting revenue figures are just related to USA, and the market of Mac is quite narrow when compared to other similar brands.

Apple, on the other hand, is far too optimistic with respect to the latest OS. In an official press release released couple of days back, the Director made a precise mention of the increased sales and swell up in the profits. He also showed optimism with regard to the future of its MAC OS X Lion.  He also negated the wide-spread misconception that USA is the only country that Apple looks forward to sale its products. Now whether or not the rising trend of Apple goes on in the similar pace or not is certainly not too clear, and only time would tell that would this Mac OS extend to markets other than those in USA.

As a snapshot of Mac OS X Lion, the most striking feature of the latest release has been the full-screen applications it has got. In addition, the concept of Launchpad has been included for the first time in any Mac OS.  The price of the OS is officially fixed by Apple and if someone sale it below the set price of 29 USD, there are high probabilities that these would be far from authentic. Apple has also begun a strong system to prevent the sale of bogus Mac copies, so ensure that you get an authentic one on your pc.
