Lovely for iPhone App Review

Lovely for iPhone App Review

The search for a new apartment is often difficult, in fact sometimes it is hard to even know where to start. First you have to find out where the best apartments are, then you need to narrow them down to the ones that best fit into your price range, even though you know ultimately you are probably going to choose one slightly out of your price range because of an attractive detail that you end up never using, such as a bath with a built in hot tub feature. After this come the viewings in which you visit and compare the apartments before making your final choice. It can be exciting but it is also a bit of a drag, especially at the start of it all when you are struggling to find any decent listings. Fortunately, as is the case with most things, there is an app that makes the search easier. Lovely is available now from the App Store and is completely free.

The fact that it is free is already a selling point as many listings sites require paid subscription but even if you did have to pay for it, it would be worth it because Lovely is an incredibly useful app that will have you rehoused in no time. As free tools go it is one of the best.

Lovely has a very clear and attractive interface that is intuitive and easy to use.  When you search for an area you are presented with a map that has all the available accommodations dotted around it. Numbered circles show you how many listings there are in that area and the more you zoom in, the more specific their location can be traced. A quick tap on a property will then bring up more information about it so you can read the listing, find out all you need to know about rent and bills and, if they have been included, view pictures of the apartment. If you like what you see then a simple tap of the contact details will put you in touch with the landlord so you can organise a viewing.

With Lovely you can find out in minutes where all the best places to rent near you are and it is just as easy to extend that search to other areas. Of course, the number of available properties will depend on the kind of area you live in and there are less likely to be so many out in the countryside. But this is hardly the app’s fault and it certainly succeeds at showing you what is out there. There are other features too, such as a favourites folder for the more promising apartments and alerts to let you know when a flat is no longer available.

Lovely certainly lives up to its name and it eliminates the need to subscribe to any sites. The service it offers is as good as any and it is very easy to use. If you are wanting to move out, this is a good way to find your next home.
