Edit: After half day, my wife’s Mac started having the same problem. I have then applied the solution that I found in the Apple
Lion Server – The OS X Lion Mark
The Lion Server is a hub characteristic of the OS X Lion. It has been included without additional costs for now. You will have an option to set your Mac with either server installation or regular OS X.
If you opt for the server installation, your Mac will act like a server. Then you can perform remote or local management and install other server features like file sharing, user management, chat, contacts, mail, VPN, web and push notifications etc. All these features will work under the Lion server.
It allows you to use collaboration services like iCal server, Wiki server, File Sharing and more. You can use the server to enable your organization to get higher results from their iPads, iPhones and Macs.
Use the server application and you will get to use various server features of the OS X Lion. There are a lot of standard tools like Server Admin, Podcast Composer, System Image Utility, Server Monitor, Xgrid Admin, Workground Manager, and Xsan Admin etc.
And the best part is that it is also supported by Apple iPad. You can do this with the help of Profile Manager that offers simple setup and running of Lion. There are many updates that are pushed by Push Notification Services by Apple.
So how do you like the fact that server tool comes for free? And what exactly will you use it for? Let us know in the comments.
