LifeTopix for iOS App Review
Keeping organised can be a real chore and if you have a lot to keep on top of, it can become a particularly complicated process to bring it all under control. There are of course apps to help you fix this but then with so many different aspects of life, such as finances, shopping and various other daily tasks, even if you have an app for each one it is still quite a list of things to work through. Fortunately, there is an app available that brings more or less every organisational task together under one roof in an easy-to-manage way. The aptly named LifeTopix is available from the App Store for just $0.99 and it is worth every penny.
It may look a bit daunting at first because there is a lot of information in one place but once you settle in you will see that the amount of detail is what makes LifeTopix so good. LifeTopix is not just a to-do list app. It is that but it is so much more as it covers calendars, notes and many more. In fact there is so much here, it has to be divided into 12 categories, which cover Tasks & Projects, Shopping, Events, Travel, People & Services, Health, Finances, Home & Assets, Education, Notes, Media and Bookmarks. This layout makes navigation much easier and a tap on any will open up further options. The 12 headings barely scratch the surface.
It may be confusing but everything here works together and whatever kind of event you need to create, it can be done easily. While categories are varied, any additions you make are added to one single situation so that all your various to-dos are together. Whether you wish to add an item to your shopping list or pay a bill, it all takes you through the same, simple process. But every situation you can think of is covered here and you can create multiple lists if need be. Each reminder can have further information added to it if you need to be more specific and once you get your head around the many different options you should have no trouble keeping track of it all.
This may take some time however as the app really is stuffed with tools but there is no need to use absolutely everything. Take the time to get used to it and familiarise yourself with it all and you will see what works for you and what doesn’t. You are unlikely to need to use everything. You can of course sync this app with iCloud, which is more or less a requirement with an app of this nature.
LifeTopix is an incredibly useful app. The only real flaw is that it takes some getting used to but this is only because it has so much to offer, which is really a strength ultimately. Initially you may find it more trouble than it is worth but if you stick with it, explore it and really get into it, you will find it a rewarding app that is well worth the time it takes to get used to. If your life is in serious need of organising, there are few apps better than this one.
