iTunes Now Houses 800,000 iOS and 350,000 iPad Apps

With the announcement of its Fiscal Earnings for Q2 2013, Apple have also announced some major news regarding its application software and the level of applications stored on its iTunes servers.

The company have said that they now offer more than 850,000 iOS applications and that 350,000 of those applications are specifically designed for the iPad

iTunes has also reportedly brought in $2.4 billion in revenue and this is up 20% over the same quarter last year.

Apple currently offers 35 million songs in 119 countries, 50,000 movies in 109 countries and 1.7 million iBooks with the numbers increasing daily as more people create more content and upload it for apple to check and permit for sale.

Currently the app store is available in 155 countries, which Apple says covers more than 90 percent of the world’s population.

Somewhere in the region of 1 – 1.5 billion people log on to Apples iTunes store daily and most of them either download free software or purchase extras for whatever they are currently using.
