iTunes Home Sharing – Time to Use It!
The rumors came true as iOS 4.3 has been released by Apple. This release was made a couple of days ahead of the schedule and updates are present for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Now users can update devices by getting connected to iTunes, and then checking for updates.
There are many enhancements by iOS 4.3 and these include AirPlay video compatibility, Safari speed improvements, iPad side switch customization and Home Sharing to get media from the iTunes library to any iOS device through Wi-Fi.
Now you might have a few questions, so here are the simple steps to follow:
Download iOS 4.3 and install it. Make sure you have iTunes10.2 on the Mac. Your Mac and iOS device must be on a single wi fi network. So let’s go:
- Open iTunes10.2.1 and go to Advance. Now click on the option to switch on Home Sharing.
- Now enter your iTunes details (Apple ID)
- Take the iOS device and open Settings. Now open the iPod option.
- Now open the iPod application on iPhone and click on the bottom tab.You will see the Mac’s share.
