iRig HD Adapter Lets You Connect Guitars To Your Lightning Port
IK multimedia use CES to announce the iRig HD adapter which lets you connect guitars to your iDevice using the lightning port.
The new iRig HD hardware adapter lets you send sound from any Quarter inch plug instrument including guitars, too Apple devices directly through the lightning port.
The iRig also brings in analog-to-digital conversion in many older models including macs with USB ports through relevant adapters.
The original iRig (non-HD) had sold over half a million copies worldwide and revolutionised the way guitar players can jam and record on their Apple devices.
There are currently no launch details or price information for the iRig but we are expecting it to be extremely popular with musicians and could be very popular if it will work combined with certain kinds of band practice and recording apps.
