iPhone App Lytro To Share Photos On The Go Via Wi-Fi
The company which created the light-field camera system which shares the same name, has launched an iPhone app, also called Lytro, that’s designed to be used on the go.
Users can then share these via Facebook and Twitter, and also via text and MMS messaging services.
The free application also allows Lytro users to upload photos to Lytro’s own sharing site while on the move and the app makes use of the cameras secret wi-fi chip with a software update required to officially unlock all the hardware required for use.
In addition to sharing your own photos, the Lytro app can allow users to view the photos of other Lytro camera owners, with a bonus feature that lets you create fun animated GIF’s
Interestingly enough, Steve Jobs once met with executives of Lytro to discuss implementing the camera technology into a future version of the iPhone.
Please share your Lytro pictures with us by sending them to our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
