iPad Air 2 Images Leaked Online Show Major Upgrades

Large numbers of iPad Air 2 images have leaked online and show that Apple have made some major improvements.


Apple are expected to launch there new round of tablets on October 16th, something Apple Fan Site will be covering in great detail.

The new range of tablets, including the rumoured iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2 will have Apple fans queuing back at stores just weeks after the rush on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The new iPad Mini is rumoured to feature a Touch ID sensor, A8X chip and other upgraded features while the new iPad Air will feature upgraded ram that could be doubled.

The leaks follow last week’s rumours which also suggested Apple was putting the finishing touches to a new gold version of its iPad Air.

An apparent mock-up of a slightly redesigned, next-generation iPad Air recently surfaced from Vietnam showing a more trim profile, recessed volume buttons, and the addition of a Touch ID sensor to the home button.

There are also rumours that the new iPads will be available in gold and its not been ruled out that a cheaper colourful iPad could make an appearance at this years event.

Hidden code in the latest iOS 8.1 beta software hints that the iPads will feature a Touch ID fingerprint sensor and Apple Pay functionality.

However, it is not clear whether the new iPad will come with NFC functionality, which is used for contact-less payments, as it relies on a Wi-Fi or mobile connection.

Apple is also rumoured to be launching a larger iPad with a 12.9-inch screen next year, which if true, could offer 76 per cent more screen area than the current 9.7 inch models.
