iOS 7 Error Continues To Plague Apple Customers After Release Day
The iOS 7 error which has been causing chaos for Apple customers, is continuing this morning with more reports on both Facebook and Twitter of people unable to download the new OS.
iOS 7 error messages began coming in within minutes of the new operating system being released to the public yesterday evening at 6PM UK time.
Common error messages received by users included: ‘Software Update Unavailable,’ ‘Software Update Failed’ and ‘An error occurred downloading iOS 7.0.’
Another error which has been less frequent is the “unavailable to activate iOS 7″; message and this is also something that Apple are going to need to address.
The update, which requires a huge amount of memory on your device, will change the total look and feel of the OS.
Apple have added many new features including new live wallpapers, updates to Siri and Message center and flashy new icons.
Some users who have actually gotten hold iOS 7 report that it consumes a large amount of battery life.
iOS 7 also has features inside it to accept Apple’s new fingerprint sensor technology which is launching this Friday and some iPhone enthusiasts are already camping outside Apple stores in both London and New York to get their hands on the phone.
Apart from the iOS 7 error messages on downloading, some users have complained about the amount of memory which the system takes up, as this could be up to 2.7GB of data usage.
Many of the iOS 7 error message reports have come from social media websites, most notably Twitter, where people vented their anger over the download problems and the memory and battery usage for those that were actually able to get hold of it.
With iOS error problems continuing this morning, it seems like its going to be a long couple of days for Apple customers downloading the new software.
