Fav Alert Brings You Facebook Friend Push Notifications and Online Times
The team behind Fav Alert have put together a great application that combines both online statistics and push notifications from friends.
The Fav Alert Application is free to download from the App Store and one of its main features lets you know when your friends are on Facebook and for how long.
Fav Alert notifies you when your friends come online and allows you to chat with them without having to stand and stare at your phone / tablet hoping their online.
The application tracks only the time your friend is actively looking at their Facebook and not when they have it closed meaning that you know exactly when they are available and when they are not.
Other features of Fav Alert include knowing the number of friends online based on the number of rings, assigning a specific sound to one friend as they come online (IAP Required), the ability to notify you across all your iOS devices and information on how to get notifications about Friends on Facebook using the Close Friend List.
Taking a look at some of the in-app purchases, this app has some interesting features including the ability to track a friends activity during a pre-defined time of the day, the ability to get notifications when friends go offline and notifications for status updates, photos and comments.
The in-app purchases also feature one-minute alerts with an advanced setting potion and the ability to increase the number of friends you can track at any one time from 3 to 40.
Fav Alert requires iOS 5.1.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, with the app being optimized for iPhone 5.
