Enhance Skype and iChat Quality on Mac – Get iGlasses
The world is gradually turning into a video calling community. This new era emerged with Skype and iChat. FaceTime from Apple offers video mobile calls but there’s only one small problem – it has low video quality, and weak controls. If you want to view better videos on iSight, then you need iGlasses.
The compact control panel of iGlasses works great and allows the user to adjust contrast, brightness, color, white balance, hue, sharpness, saturation, orientation, shutter speed, zoom, and focus.
This is how the iSight camera appears before iGlasses and with it.
It comes with many video presets together with Night Vision feature to give a green glow to your video- similar to what you get when you wear night vision goggles.
Installing it is pretty simple. You can arrange iGlasses for various apps using the iGlasses Manage.
You can rotate the images upside down or sideways with a single click. Plus you don’t have to restrain yourself to using the iSight camera that is built in your Mac – you can also use any USB digital camera. All you need are proper drivers.
You can change the settings according to your priority. To get a sharp image and saturated colors, you can select Enhanced, but if you are working in dimly lit areas, then Super Bright and Extra Bright are good choices. There are other settings like Black n White, Zoom, Focus, Crazy Color, and Sepia etc.
And iGlasses would cost you only $9.95. For all these features, it is an inexpensive app. We all video chat some time or the other. And most of the times we look like we’re sitting in a cave with dimly lit videos and low quality. If you are not sure about spending your money, you can try the free demo before purchasing it. And let us know how you feel about it.
