Draw Something 2 by Zynga Released for iOS
Zynga dismal quarter reports have been hurting the company. Zynga desperately needs a series of games that will help them recover. They are looking for a step forward with the announcement and release of Draw Something 2
for iOS devices. We all remember how popular the original Draw Something was. Zynga is hoping to wheel in that same popularity by introducing new game options & social aspect within the game. This game has everything people loved in the original but are the changes enough to get people back to playing Draw Something.
Draw Something 2 is the sequel to Draw Something that was purchased from the startup company OMGPOP for a cool $180 million. This is a major reason why Zynga needs this to be successful. They are looking to cash in on their investment if not they will have to chuck this up as a loss.
Zynga’s attempt to make this game as popular as the first does not go unseen. They have introduced new features and ideas that really take this game to the next level. They have included a free draw option that saves your pictures in your gallery so others can view. They have implemented a social feed within the game that allows you to like & comment on other player’s drawings. The social feed reminds me a lot of Instagram but instead of sharing digital pictures, you share your drawings.
Draw Something 2 is been out for a day and have been receiving very positive customer reviews. Unfortunately, no numbers on how many actual downloads have been released so it is hard to tell how many people are actually using it. Customers are indicating that they are happy with the newest Draw Something 2, question is though, how long will that last? For the Free version click, HERE & for the Paid version ($2.99) click HERE.
