Edit: After half day, my wife’s Mac started having the same problem. I have then applied the solution that I found in the Apple
Corona – easy or pointless?
Corona, the 15 year olds workstation. Thats whats said, millions of kids make their money from using the simple, well developed iOS and Android ‘framework’. Corona is a really easy to use, its peice of kit that allows you to make apps for both Android and iPhone/iPod with very little knowledge of programming. It simplifies a lot of areas and is the only (that i know) language that you can use cross platform. Its a small price ( ?300! ) but many say its worth it or is it?
There is famous and there is successful. Personally, I want to be successful. So learning each unique language for each device would probably get you further than taking the `easy` route and developing with Corona, dont get me worng its an amazing piece of kit. But seorisly? The I’m an app developer badge should be hard to get, it should be an achievement. No wonder saying: ‘I developed my apps with Objective-C and Java’ is a lot more demanded than ‘I developed apps with Corona’.
What i would love is that you could develop using Corona for iOS and Android on a Windows PC. That would be good! But no, you have to get a mac to develop for both! Thats were the future should be, Apple being nice!
So while all the rich kids running around with there ?2000 macs claiming they can program, the rest of us struggle with the battle of Apple vs Microsoft languages. But yes the fighters hopefully come out better off!
Good luck to all the genuine developers out there!
