CES 2013 Is Consumer Electronics For The Future
Today has not seen much Apple related news come from CES 2013 so I have had chance to look over the other news coming from the show floor and have come to the conclusion that CES is consumer electronics for the future.
Most products found at CES will reach the market at some point ranging from a few months to around 8 years depending on the product and the company. CES ever year seems to be becoming a show to attend just to show who is bigger and better and weather that is by who’s booth is the biggest who has got the best technology or who has got the craziest idea which the public will never get their hands on.
Lets take CES 2012 for example when we seen Behringer show off its iNuke Boom which is a 10,000 watt iPhone dock which weighed 700 pounds. It all’s sounds and looks great when you in the middle of the CES battlefield but when you start thinking about it in reality who is going to spend $30,000 on a speaker dock of that size?
In 2012 we also seen LG show off its 4K 84″; TV which was mind blowing and this year Sharp is showing of it’s 85″; 8K Prototype TV which is not expect to be in the public hands for a good few years as the technology is just to expensive and the content is not available at the minute and this is at the show really to give of the message that Sharp want people the believe they are leading in TV innovation and also to claim the we had the first title.
Hopefully with companies making big statements like the sharp with the 8K TV’s this will drive innovation and technology to the highest possible it would just be good to look at some of this amazing technology and think I could have that and not have to wait years.
