Edit: After half day, my wife’s Mac started having the same problem. I have then applied the solution that I found in the Apple
Apps Store for Mac, are you Worried ?
Today Apple announced a dedicated Apps store for their personal computer line of products. The Mac App Store is just like the App Store for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. So it’s as easy to find and download Mac apps as it is to add your favorite magazine to iPad or a new game to iPod touch.
You can browse Mac apps by category, such as games, productivity, music, and more. Or do a quick search for something specific. Read developer descriptions and user reviews. Flip through screenshots. When you find an app you like, click to buy it.
The revenue model works the same with developers seeing 70% of the income and Apple receiving 30%. We want to know what you think ? Are you concerned about Apple deciding what Apps go on the store or are you worried that users will see a hike in app prices ?
Tell us what you think.
It is certainly a nice way of keeping your installs up to date but personally I am still not completely convinced. When a developer releases an update I get it the next time I run the App, is this going to slow the process down ?
