Apple's Sir Jony Ive's SVP Of Industrial Design Is A Big Fan Of Windows Phone 8

Over the past week we have heard a lot about a big shuffle up regarding the top members of the Apple team which also seen Scott Forstall fired. Today MacReviews.com has learned that Apple’s Senior Vice President Of Industrial Design , Sir Jony Ive is a big fan of Windows Phone 8 the latest mobile operating to comes from Microsoft. Windows phone 8 takes a similar format to Windows 8 with a layout orientation around tiles.

You maybe asking why is this a big deal ? Scott Forstall was in charge of iOS before he was fired now the responsibility has fell on Ive’s and human interface has now been added to his role at Apple. Apple is well known for taking a look at both the market and competitors and doing a better job or in other words taking inspiration and doing it properly , for example the iPod was not the first portable music player on the market but soon become number 1 , the iPhone was not the first smart phone but is now the number 1 smart phone on the market and these are only a couple of examples. Maybe Jony will take some inspiration from Windows phone 8 and is that such a bad thing  ?

With Windows Phone 8 as an inspiration and word that Sir Jony Ive is not a fan of Apples famous skeuomorphic design maybe we will see a full refresh of the iOS coming with in the next few versions with hopefully some noticeable changes coming in iOS 7 at WWDC 2013.

Some people did not like the news about Scott Forstall being fired but maybe Apple were stuck in a rut with iOS and hopefully Sir Jony Ive can get them out of that rut with out slacking on the hardware.
