Apple's Re-use And Recycle Program Begins In Its UK Stores
Apple’s re-use and recycle scheme has kicked off in the UK with Apple taking your old iPhone off your hands, if you buy a slightly cheaper one.
The Cupertino company’s trade in scheme has already been very successful after it launched back in August and the company has now bought the same scheme to UK shores.
If you take your iPhone into the nearest apple store, an employee will examine your phone and, if suitable, will decide on a price that you can put towards a new iPhone.
There are several factors that could jeopardize what money off you actually get from your old device, with hardware, water and screen damage all counting towards the final total.
The scheme which has been running science early 2012 has offered people direct cash for their old devices once a new version has been released, however prices for good condition phones on eBay could be almost 75% better than apples ?175 offer.
