Apple's iPhone 5 Will Have 1GB of Ram
Apple’s iPhone 5 was announced last Wednesday, and sold out online within 1 hour!
While there has been some speculation that the new iPhone 5 would feature, upgraded RAM, apple has not been so quick to announce this feature.
The iPhone 4 and 4S both contain 512MB of ram and running out of this key feature can cause system instability and performance issues, including the closing down of non-essential applications or processes.
The chart above comes from Samsung’s 2012 Product Solutions Guide (PDF) which lists part numbers of various memory parts they have for sale.
Whats interesting is that the part number on the A6 chip, lines up with the 1GB DRAM section of part numbers on the list.
This is a clear indication that the iPhone 5 will feature 1GB of ram making it the fastest iPhone Ever
