Apple Will Have The Biggest Influence On CES 2012 And Will Not Even Be Attending
Apple will not be at CES 2012 but we believe they will still have the most influence on the products we see released. Over the last few years as iPod and iPhones have taken over the world CES has become more and more based around Apple. Obviously some big Apple competitors showcase there new products each year at CES but again these products seem to be competing with what Apple is rumoured to be releasing or has released a few months later.
Last year we seen CES 2011 dominated with touch screen tablets to compete with Apple’s iPad. It was estimated that we seen well over 100 devices showcased but we have yet to see a real competitor ( The Kindle is not a competitor).
It is expected for the same to happen again this year but not with other companies competing with Apple’s iPad but there Macbook Air. CES Organisers have said they are expecting around 40 Macbook Air style ultra books to be showcased this year at CES.
As well as other big companies competing with Apple’s products which are already on the market , a few other companies are trying to beat Apple. The rumours have been stacking up for a few months about Apple releasing a TV screen in 2012 or early 2013 and some companies think they have what it takes to defeat Apple in the TV department and they will be showing them at CES 2012.
