Apple Set To Open Centre 66 Mall Store Next Week

Apple have announced via their website that the company plans to open its 12th retail store in the Centre 66 mall which lies in Wuxi, China.

Apple announced recently that they have plans to open a new store in China and that turned out to be set for this weekend at a store in Chongqing.

The have now announced the opening of another store, this time on August 2nd in Wuxi, bringing the total number stores on the Chinese mainland to twelve.

The Centre 66 location will boast a Genius Bar, workshops, One to One and Joint Venture training. Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. 

Apple has been expending into China with great enthusiasm and its products have bee gaining massive popularity in the emerging marketplace, giving the company a much needed boost in sales profits over its rival Samsung. 

Apple has seen its iPhone market double in China over recent months, while its Mac sales rose by over 39% compared to the same time last year.

Apple’s upcoming Chinese outlets are part of a thrust to triple its retail footprint in the nation as East Asia continues to play an increasingly important cog in the company’s plans for future growth. 

Apples new store in the Centre 66 mall will differ from its stores in Chongqing and Pudong, which feature spiral staircase entrances, and will feature floor to ceiling glass windows, much like the Metro Centre store in Newcastle, United Kingdom.
