Apple Release iOS 7 Beta 2

Just 14 days after Apple released iOS 7 beta 1 at their World Wide Developers Conference, today Apple has released the 2nd beta to developers.The update is currently available OTA (over the air) and you can update your device which is running iOS 7 beta 1 by going to Settings> General> Software Update. The beta should also appear on Apple’s developers centre with in the coming hours.

Beta 2 will mainly bring improvements and bug fixes to iOS 7 along side a few more tweaks to the design. We will keep you updated if we find any new features or big changes but if you beat us to it be sure to let us know on Twitter or

  • Voice Memo’s makes a return with a new UI

  • A redesigned clock icon in Control Centre

  • A redesigned Reminders app

  • Group iMessages now show contacts profile pictures

  • New button to access all your locations

  • Tweaked music controls on lock screen

  • Enabled activation lock in the find my iPhone

  • Beta 2 is also now available for iPad and iPad mini
