Apple iWatch Could Have A Flexible Screen
Apple could be about to break out into the smart-watch business with their iWatch tipped to have a flexible screen.
Several reports from South Korea suggest that Apple are moving towards a bendy OLED screen for their rumored iWatch and it has been claimed that they have asked factory’s to produce prototypes for 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 inch screens.
This would beat Samsung’s Galaxy Gear smart-watch which has a screen size of 1.63 inches and runs on a resolution of 320×320 pixels.
The Gear also lacks email and social networking capabilities with poor battery life also high on
users complaint lists.
It’s understood that Apple CEO Tim Cook prefers wrist gadgets instead of glasses and he states that even with an iWatch it is convincing people to wear the device that is the main issue with producing one.
Apple have so far registered the name iWatch In over 10 countries world wide with more expected by the end of this year.
