Apple Co-Founder & Apple's Former Head Of 03keting Set To Speak At AppsWorld Europe Later This Year

AppsWorld’s 4th year is set to welcome some special visitors to this years event. Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and former Apple head of marketing & EA founder, Trip Hawkins will be visiting the event in Earls Court 2, London 22-23 of October.

AppsWorld is aimed at developers, and in previous years has been heavily contributed by Blackberry. However this year, it is set to change with talks from Wozniak and Hawkins. Developers from around Europe will attend the event to learn about new technologies, develop business strategies for their app and seek investment from big funders.

Steve Wozniak co-founded Apple back in 1976 alongside Steve Jobs and is now keen to pass on his experience and knowledge to developers around the world. Is his speech, which will take place on 23rd October, Wozniak plans on sharing not only his experience of 30 years in the computing industry but also plans to give his advice and views on innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in the multiplatform apps ecosystem.  Wozniak went on to say “I’m delighted to be speaking at Apps World, sharing my experience of 30 years in the mobile and computing industry, as well as learning from and feeding off the passion and enthusiasm of the app developer community in attendance.”

A lot of people don’t know that Trip Hawkins was Apple’s Director of Strategy and Marketing before he left to found Electronic Arts (EA) in 1982. Hawkins said “Steve Wozniak was a big help to me when I founded Electronic Arts and in a way, he started it all.  It is an honour to share the Apps World stage with him.”
