App Store for iPhone & iPad Outgrosses Android

Since the inception of the App Store for iPhones and iPad products of Apple has been the largest application download service for all mobile based devices. According to a new report issued by a research firm represents that even after being broken down by devices, the App Store of Apple has handily trounced the market of Google’s Android devices. By giving a view to the top 200 grossing applications, the research company reported that the iPhone device of Apple generates the sales which are four times more than what is generated by the Android tablets in the market.

 

Moreover, combining the seven major App Stores which includes Apple iPad, Amazon, Apple iPhones, Nokia’s Ovi, AppWorld Android Market as well as the Windows Phone 7 Marketplace, the total applications that has been made available amount to more than one million applications. Among this quantity, a major part of these apps lies in the Mac App Store and the Android market but, the total amount still stands to be remarkable.

Another interesting fact derived from the report issued is that the App Store of Apple has seen a tremendous increase in terms of downloads inChina. The firm declared that when giving a view to the top 300 free as well as the paid applications, the downloads represents from the country represent as much as 30 percent of iPhone application downloads along with a remarkable 44 percent of the downloads associated with iPads.
